Cleobury Farmhouse

Cosy and colourful

The project: Farmhouse renovation - Orangery, dining room, office, snug, two bedrooms. Solihull

Bold colours and textures were used throughout, reflecting the homeowner’s creativity and complementing her collection of artworks.

A mixture of different materials were used to add interest, character and a luxury feel, but practicality and functionality remained priorities throughout – a must with a teenager and several dogs living in the house!

The overall feel is warm, cosy and colourful; a cocooning sanctuary away from the outside world.

Space to unwind

Calming colours, inspired by the views from the floor-to-ceiling windows, fill the en-suite bedroom and bathroom. Contrasting floral patterns add extra interest.

Study time

Home-working has never looked so stylish. Bespoke joinery provides functional, yet beautiful, storage, while rust-coloured fabrics are used to bring in warmth and comfort.

If I had to describe Katy’s style I’d say ‘bold, brave and innovative’.

I like the quirkier things in life, but some of the exotic papers and fabrics she introduced are things I would never have imagined, let alone known where to source them. What she’s created is really exciting and we’re delighted with the results.
— Tess, homeowner
